Mobility research meets machine learning: apprime has been developing and operating the DLR MovingLab platform since 2017 – with native apps, middleware and ML components for automated capture of movement data.
The DLR MovingLab captures and analyzes mobility behavior as part of scientific research projects. The platform developed by apprime includes native apps for iOS and Android, a middleware layer, and a web portal for campaign management.
At its core is the integration of machine learning components that automatically classify movement data and detect mobility patterns. The combination of geo-tracking, ML models and a flexible backend architecture enables real-time analysis of traffic behavior.
apprime has been responsible for the project for over seven years – from initial development through continuous evolution to support and maintenance.
